if you care about the USA, then you reason should also include the democrat party. because these days, both of these parties are exactly the same. they say one thing and do another, but in the end they both do the same thing.

both of these parties will be the end of the union, and I am glad of it. it is about time for the USA as a whole to come to an end. sort of like when the roman empire came to a end.

maybe some good will come out of the USA splitting up in the future, but who knows.

Beginning with Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, the Feds greatly slashed aid to cities. That in turn resulted in a decline in the quality of education and the quality of life in general in urban America.

guess what, the feds were never supposed to be giving cities or states any money at all for education in the 1st place. education has nothing to do with the commerce clause, and that alone keeps the feds out of education.

I love it. On one hand, the Right demonizes Obama as a weak, incompetent, ineffectual figurehead. On the other, they talk about him as if he is the leader of a cabal of radical, socialist, evil beings who are using their powers to take over the world.

Either Obama's Pinky, or he's the Brain. You guys need to make up your minds which demented image you want to use to paint him with.

Yeah, well, there are a lot of things the Feds allegedly shouldn't be doing that they are. Point is, we do pay taxes to the Federal Government, and they do give that back to us in services - or at least they should. Would you rather see our country's children even more ignorant than they already are compared to kids in, say, China, India or Lower Bum*****ia because you have a problem with the government investing in education?

Why do ignorant liberals resort to personal attacks?

I would rather see the federal goverment stay out of the states business and leave it to them as well.

the feds are the ones that messed up the educations system.
education was going just fine until the feds stuck their noses where it didnt belong.

That worked really well in the South before 1965.

Some of those are reasonable, some are completely moronic lies.

#1: Yeah, those healthcare execs are just soooo mad at Obama. They WROTE most of Obamacare and all those people having to buy mandatory for-profit coverage from them is just terrible for them.
(I'm generally in favor of Obamacare too, just that the writer of this point is an idiot.)

#2: He didn't end Iraq. He followed the Bush plan and actually tried to SLOW it down. He surged in Afghanistan but nice spin that he is "ending the war there", really? WTH? Oh yeah Guantanamo is now permanent...signed by the man that swore to close it.

#3-#4: Ok.

#5: This has been going on well before Obama and I'm not completely sold on his actions in that they may have helped in some places but hurt in terms of supporting dying countries that were chasing dead-end tech to the detriment of their less politically connected competitors.

#6: OK

#7: The point is just stupid, lacks definition and talk is cheap even if his *thoughts* on the matter aren't just electioneering.

#8: Jury is still out until reasonable spending reforms are in place. I recognize he is inheriting a mess 30 years in the making...just like Bush and Clinton before him etc.

Now, the voter may have a case for again voting for Obama....however, they have mentally re-invented reality on several points and are obviously deep into the kool-aid on a few topics. Definitely one of the faux-anti-war protestor types.
