Has anyone else noticed that Lebanese Americans are often very assimilated, and few of them are Muslims? Most of them are members of Orthodox churches. Were all the Christians expelled from Lebanon or something? Or perhaps they chose to leave because they are neutral in the Israel-Palestine conflict? I wonder what kind of relationship these people have with Jews.

A lot of them came because of the Lebanese Civil War. I also would not be so sure they are "neutral" on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

There was another wave that occurred before the civil war back during the mass immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe. With that said I don't think you can say Helen Thomas is particularly neutral on Israel.

Well you believe wrong that Helen Thomas wants Jews to leave Israel.

In fact, I believe you know your are lying about that or extremely ignorant of Helen Thomas's views.

Who's ignorant NOW.........Helen Thomas quits | JTA - Jewish & Israel News
Helen Thomas quit her job with Hearst in the wake of mounting outrage over her assertion that Jews in Israel should "return" to Poland, Germany and the United States.

Maybe, you shouldn't POST what YOU don't know!!!
