That is sad. At least have the stones to say it to the person's face. Old people suck

If they are that "poor" they should stick to playing bingo at the senior rec center drinking the free Kool-Aid.
I've seen that happen here in FL.

Seriously people.

1) We don't know if the receipt is real, or faked because we all know people on both sides of the OWS garbage have manufactured stuff to demonize each other. The article mentions that they are trying to verify that it is real.

2) Maybe the server was being an a$$ to the guy or maybe the guy is just a big D-bag. I don't see why a guy like that (who probably isn't even be a 1%er) somehow validates or invalidates political policies no more than some OWS protestor that raped someone at a rally invalidates thier position.

This is just an excuse to fling poo at one another over limited unverified reporting on a single event. Pathetic.

It may be a crappy way to protest but it's a hell of a lot nicer than throwing a balloon full of urine at someone.

A whiny college kiddie complaining about a tip.

Maybe if the college kiddies hadn't started this crap the tip would have been different....

Default Banker leaves 1% tip in "protest"

This was posted by his own employee. I understand tipping is not mandatory. Neither is the comment written on the receipt. Not sure if this is the whole story but there is a very specific reason why people hate people like this and here is one of them.

Why are America's wealthy waging class warfare against working Americans?

Duh, miss the point much?
I was speaking of people such as the person in the article short-tipping or not tipping at all.
Reading comprehension is fundamental.

Spoken like someone who has never been a server or bartender.
