Were YOU sitting at the table?

Where do you get off asking someone who supports the banker that question when you have no problem supporting the waitress in previous posts?

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Right, I pumped gas for a buck an hour, no tips period.

But I sure have seen and met people who feel society owes them and walk around with a chip on their shoulder a mile wide and this waiter sure sounds like one...

FYI- Barbara Striesand is notorious for tipping badly and is most certainly....a 1%. However, she supports the correct causes so she gets a pass from the hillariously hypocritical "1%er" argument.

Let's face it people, the whole 1%er thing is a political sham in an election year.

I was a waiter in college and part time while in the military. You're going to get crappy tips, it's part of the job.

Interestingly, the crappiest tips usually came from the long-haired hippie types who are the exact same type of people in the Occupy movement.
The picture and posting was done by the banker's employee. Not the server.

A banker left a 1% tip in defiance of 'the 99%' at a Newport Beach restaurant the other week, according to his dining companion and underling who snapped a photo of the receipt and posted it to his blog, Future Ex Banker.
I am assuming you just went off of the headline as opposed to reading the article or did you stop after the first comma?

As a matter of fact, he is a liberal.
I've met a few famous actors and musicians. Many of them acted extremely arrogant. With great wealth and influence comes arrogance. This story doesn't really surprise me. Even working class stiffs who work at posh places develop a deaming and arrogant attitude, I guess it's infectious.

If its true its BS.

Every-time I have received poor service and decided not to leave a tip I personally had a conversation with the manager and offending server.

One time the service was so bad that I picked up all my own dishes and walked them to the kitchen just to make a point. Yes no tip was left behind.

If the food is horrible but the service great I will brow beat the manager into reducing my bill and add that to the servers tip.

I deal with some of these self absorbed A-holes regularly.

When I was a cab driver in Manhattan I had Liza Minnelli as a fare.

Meter came to around $30.00, I got a $0.25 cent tip.....

Serving/bartending is one of the most stressful jobs out there.
You're projecting what you wish onto someone who may not be what you're thinking at all
