I don't watch shows like this one and here is a good reason why I don't. A "judge" in a prime time CBS drama stands up and brags about how great the OWS people in Chicago and how they are mistreated by the Chicago police.

BTW, have the Chicago police used pepper spray on the 99%, the judges heros and heroines? Surely we would have heard about that somewhere other than on a CBS drama show.

Apparently it's a comedy, not a drama...
Or perhaps fantasy.

Frank Zappa was right about a few things. Ted Turner admitted long ago to putting pro un propaganda in his broadcasts. Venzualla beef was blatently promoted on a sci fi series in the early 90's when nafta was fresh.

I saw that show. When he did it, I just rolled my eyes - as did the main character in the series.

The character of that judge has always been pretty "goofy." I think the OWS crowd is very misdirected, and that they're idiots for it, but I don't really see this TV episode as being an endorsement of them. The writers were mentioning something that's a current event - it happens all the time. This really wasn't a big deal.

I don't think that show is intended to be comedy. The title of the show was in the text, wasn't it?

When you mention something like that and then do it again saying that your sniffle was caused by the pepper spray from police you got while visiting the site that day I think it is something other than comedy. Did the police in Chicago use pepper spray on the OWS people? I really don't know.
