BTW, do you really know about the group, other then this memo? Not every group is someone we'd like to help. We helped the Taliban fight the soviets, look what that got us.
Exactly. What an Idiot. We should have driven all the way to Bagdad then. His Armies were demoralized and crushed. It probably would have gotten him re-elected not that I voted for him anyway. We were ready and had the right Theater Commander. Damn it when I think about the wasted opportunity. Oh well got back to the states sooner than expected and am alive today.

Well you say what an idiot, but do you know who most of the people we were fighting in Iraq were? The same people you think Bush should have helped.

Thats the point, who are you helping, and what are you going to get?

Saddam was a brutal dictator, but we put him into power to help us with Iran, look what that got us?

Second guessing an executive decision with incomplete data is, well, less then ideal to make an informed decision.

Who said that?

Did anyone take reading comprehension in school?

I'm almost scared to ask this, but Why?

Negative on all fronts. When Saddam crossed the line then all bets are off. Of course I am second guessing my CINC's decision. Especially based on all the information that has come to light since.
