I do believe Maine went Red in 2010...possibly they could get a republican in there. Might be tough.
Chances of the GOP winning the seat are very slim. The Dems have a strong bench, the GOP's bench is very slim. The GOP did pick up the Governorship in 2010, however was mostly due to a very strong Indpendent (who was liberal) running.

Indeed. Snowe was barely to the right of Vermont's Bernie Sanders.

That may well be the case, but she STILL counts as a Republican when it comes to who has control of the Senate - and consequently who chairs the committees.

Yes, I understand.

A Progressive is a Progressive regardless of the letter behind the name. There is virtually no difference between the parties anymore.

We are in a fight for the survival of liberties affirmed under the US Constiution. These next election cycles, if the totalitarian Obama regime allowes them to come to fruition, will either allow tyranny a free hand or will abolish it and re-establish the US Constiution as the law of the land. There will be no inbetween.

People still stuck in the R vs. D party mindset have blinders on.

Don't be a drama queen.

Maybe you should actually VISIT a totalitarian country so that you can understand what it is. ANYONE who thinks this country is "totalitarian" is clueless.

Yes, it's either that or it's just another election. By the way, I think you mean allows, not allowes and yeah the next election cycle will happen. That tin foil hat is a little tight today I think.

There was a lot of buyers remorse on that bargain. Pushing the envelope with child labor... yee haw. Surprised they didn't recall him.

Sure there's a vast bit of difference. There's democrats, indies, and there's a terrorist org calling themselves a political party preying on America. No wonder Olympia is leaving.

You really have to lay off the sauce. You truly are your own worst enemy.
