We get it, this is the talking point for this week. The talk radio I can often hear from my office accountant's desk and Fox have been repeating this since late last week. And there have been no less than three other threads here on CD with pretty much the same title.

There certainly has to be something of substance to discuss?

If you do not feel there is substance you are free to not discuss it

...then why did the left in 08 slam Bush for rising gas prices? Maybe your hat is too tight?

go figure.

it is part of obama's helpless/not my fault legacy, which, no doubt, will continue into his 4th year as president.

here is what is happening in israel (haaretz headline):

Netanyahu lowers Israel's gas tax to combat surging prices

leaders lead---how about that?

here is a good blog on one reason we are paying astronomical oil prices:

Iran Oil Boycott Bites US In The Rear | Culture of Life News

our government's policies are intentionally hurting our citizens.

i suppose that explains our energy secretary chu liking and pushing for these high oil prices:

Chu has a long record of advocating for higher gas prices. In 2008, he stated, “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”

http://hotair.com/archives/2012/02/2...ng-gas-prices/

Can you imagine what food prices would be if the price of gas was at European levels?

why do you think obama picked him? duh!

how about that? i think americans are ALREADY hurting from food inflation and energy inflation.

Default gas prices will hurt the Obama

True.

When gas prices spike, everyone looks for someone to blame.

It certainly won't help his campaign.

Will it doom Obama's chances for getting re-elected? I don't think so.
