Medicare Part D was very poorly done. It blew a multi-trillion dollar hole in Medicare because it wasn't funded, and doesn't allow the federal government to negotiate drug prices. It's a massive giveaway to seniors and drug companies that the rest of us will have to pony up for down the road.
