Avoid anything that is passed off as fact in the form of charts when a President is trying to get re-elected.

Anyone can manipulate charts to "look" more positive that what is actually represented.

For example.....one *asterisk* says "excluding housing funds" when showing the effects of the Stimulus/TARP. How on God's Green Earth can you EXCLUDE housing costs when discussing the Stimulus and the Great Recession??!! Costs to bailout Freddie/Fannie/Banks and the residual effect of the housing collapse IS THE HEART OF THE RECESSSION!

I thnik perhaps the feds reprot just yesterday gave a better look. Not very good as far as job growth in coming years really.Bacailly it said that GDP growth beyonfd what we are seeing is needed for real job growth. GDP predictions are not high enough to match comig out of past recessions.Rght now a good indicator is jo participation. Bascially only about 50% of adults in job age are working. The numbers working part time is huge historically.Many only see growth in jobs slowly as boomers retire with deminished popualtion numbers. Evcen then there is a skills problem with the workforce .
