If the GOP would have shown up on election day, Romney WOULD have won in a landslide. Not enough people just voting AGAINST Obama to win. You have to have people that actually show up FOR your candidate. A liberal Republican had not business winning the nomination when the base demanded an conservative.

Exactly right. I blame most (if not all) of the woes of the next 4 years squarely on those apathetic Republicans that sat home on November 6th, or voted for some out-in-left-field candidate that had ZERO chance of winning the election.
Seriously. I blame Republicans first and foremost. It should have been an easy win and those non-voters let us down in a monumental way.
