While these two scenarios may or may not look like far off realities in the British Isles and people continue to debate the possibilities, which of these is more likely to happen in our lifetime, or at least will come sooner in your opinion? Is it Scottish Independence? Or a United Ireland? Why so? Please explain why you feel that way. Thanks.
Difficult to say. I think it will be easier for either if the EU falls apart. The movement towards Scottish independence seems to be strong in the eyes of the scots. How well that is playing to the South in England, I don't know. I woudn't imagine very well.
Scotland isnt asking for independence they are taking it!ITS NOT Englands to hold onto.
If Scotland seperates.the irish question will go top of the agenda in westminster again.only this time something will have to be sorted out .lets face it Eire cant afford the north .But theres nothing to Stop Northern IRELAND GOING INDEPNDENT EITHER.And keeping queen as figurehead.
Scottish independence. A "unified' ireland isn't going to happen.
