Since the market opened on Monday through its close today, Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday.

Do these overreacting to the PC climate companies not realize that most people would never have heard of them if it wasn't for Rush? Nobody will care in two weeks and these companies that dropped out will wish they hadn't.

Yes, quite a drop.
This is the damage Rush, with his vile mouth, did to a company. Good thing Carbonite got out when they did!

The strange part of this whole deal is that Limbaugh appears to retain the backing of his station. If more than 30 sponsors pulled out of any other program, it'd be off the air so fast your head would be spinning. How Limbaugh manages to hang on is legitimately fascinating.

He talks all day off the cuff into a microphone as an entertainer regarding hot button issues. I want to understand how it is that people don't get this and are taking it literally.

If we pull ourselves into the world of actually taking it literally, which is very disturbing to take oneself and one entertainer so seriously, I truly doubt many people would want to see any of those kind of videos of this woman. There are pros who make the real deal and guys are happy to be "drooling disgusting voyeurs" to that.

I don't believe most women are really this outraged and b*tthurt over this or take it literally anyway, there just has to be some common sense opposition to the whining and false outrage which is being used for a political agenda.
But the whole premise was ridiculous, as Ms Fluke wasn't asking Mr Limbaugh to pay for her BC - that wasn't what her testimony was about.

So he was being "absurdist" apropos of nothing, calling her a sl*t for no reason, and - and this is why women are outraged, and not in a faux way - it's his suggesting that any woman who has insurance cover her medications should be put on display for him sexually, as if he's entitled to it - it's the fact that this even popped into his mind at all, especially during an off the cuff rant, that is unsettling and shows the regard he has for women, all women, in it's unsheilded glory.

She was there representing women and this issue so he did label it on her - still absurdist. He said she (the women) who want others to pay for their birth control are the prostitutes and we (taxpayers, insurance payers) are like the pimps, or maybe the johns. We were all involved in his crazy rant, please listen to it or watch it, it is widely available. Shall we all file a class action lawsuit for being called johns?

No he is just pointing out a double standard.

He is not emulating rappers, he's been doing his schtik since before many of them were born.
