President Obama, Democrats & the Real 'War On Women' | The Stir

From Lori Ziganto - Mom Blogger

The hip new thing in Democrat circles these days seems to be demagoguing women; spewing nonsense such as claiming that the GOP has a "war on women." Speaker Pelosi went so far as to say that this "war" means that Republicans are "voting to say that women can die on the floor."

President Obama merely uses women for political gain. From perpetuating the myth of the "wage gap" to insisting that abortion is a sacred right and women will be kept barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen without it, Democrats are striving to keep women as victims. Victims can be controlled, you see. Victims are dependent; in this case on The State. Victims are powerless. Gone are the days of charity and feelings of gratitude when one needs and receives help in a time of need. Now, we are to feel entitled. Because, victims.

Do women realize that they are being had by this President for political gain?

That is what women are truly victims of in 2012.

This election season is going exactly according to Obama and his minions' plans. When there is ZERO positive record to run on, then the only thing left is to do demagogue certain segments of society in ways that turn the conversation away from The Failed Policies of the First (Half) Black President and Worst President in Post-War History.™

The plan is being executed according to its design.

Default White Men Can't Jump (I guess)

And? The problem is? What? Stop hating. Its so... small. POTUS is big leagues. Obama got there because he's got game. I don't see a problem here. Help me out.

So the recent actions by the GOP have nothing to do with the perception of women that their rights are being stripped?

Not enough shaking head icons to sort through this kind of convoluted BS to get to a "Blame Obama" conclusion.

No. He got to be POTUS because he had Oprah.
It's like giving credit to Kobe when Shaq won him his first ring.

That's right.

This is a manufactured issue. No woman's rights got stripped. It's just Democrat propaganda. There's no "right" to birth control for one. For another nobody's trying to band birth control. Third, these religious exemptions have existed for decades with no liberals complaining about them before January of this year.

It's just like actual Tea Party behavior had nothing to do with the perception that Tea Parties were full of violent racists. That perception was started and promoted by liberal talking heads.

Democrats put a narrative together and then push it relentlessly with a complicit media going along.

Tell a lie often enough and people start to believe it.

Seriously, with the push to allow insurance plans to exclude contraceptives, the GOP has nothing to do with the negative press?

Really?

The problem is, and this is a fact, nobody yelling is concerned with insurance companies covering birth control. Or nobody WAS until someone else framed it as a threat to their "values". It's a non issue. Maybe the Catholic church has a stake in it (since they are all about control) but that's another fight that we will be dealing with in the not so distant future (religious "rights"). The average poster here who tosses out a "pay for your own sex" comment is ignorant and can't call out their own leaders. Ignorance is the threat, not just to women either. This goes for everyone and it's not specific to one particular political party.

Women... victims?
On second thought, they are! When comparing women lives in US with women in other places on the globe, I must admit... its terrible:
In US, women can't drive a car.
In the US, a woman can't spend time alone with a man without a chaperon.
In the US, women who wear revealing clothes can be arrested.
Under Obama's new law, women who commit adultery can be decapitated.
etc, etc, etc,
Teabaggers and Birthers are right: Obama is a Muslim dictator!

You only prove my point... are you really saying Kobe doesn't have skillz? BBall is a team sport although you wouldn't always know it. So is politics. All's fair...
