I knew Tesla had a fertile mind thats why Bell hired him and when he died the Government stole his papers and ideas probably lost to time due to their incompetence.

And why are we fighting and sacrificing people over oil thousands of miles away, scraping sand and drilling miles below the oceans... why?

That day will not come in our lifetimes,so why spend money we don't have now to chase it?
Guess you'd rather just pass the problem on to our children and grandchildren. Wait....isn't your side all about NOT passing problems on to our children and grandchildren??

Good question why aren't we drilling and employing our own people instead ? Extra creme for the government coffers from royalties of those evil capitalists to fund all the free government handouts....

Not drilling where?

I see your point though, right along this...

Yea, the guy was waay ahead of his time. The truth of the matter is, that the powers that be don't want us to have some forms of technology because they don't turn huge profits or can't be monopolized. Who knows what other technologies are out there or what geniuses there are in our great country.

Money is our highest value in this country. Above other humans, above God, even above our own well being at times.

Yes of course the Palestinians are trying to control Israel's vast oil holdings, the same for oil rich Tunisia, and Egypt. And who can forget all those African nations drowning in oil, like Syria, Cote d'Ivoire.

Should read "$1 billion in kickbacks, pay offs and vote getting"
It would be nice if we had a congress with stones to reign this fascist monster in.
And this would different from the current Big Oil and Gas subsidies that Congress refuses to end, how?

Anyway, it was a terrific speech and a great vision of the future.
