Oklahoma House approves pistol-packing in public - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/oklahoma-house-approves-pistol-packing-public-021325122.html - broken link)

Good for Oklahoma! I still think they need to go farther and not allow cops to just stop and ask people to see their permit just because...that leads to harassment.

As someone with Concealed License I see no problem with a cop asking to see my license. It's like driving and showing your license.

Good for those Okies, they are good common sense people.

How does this affect you when you're driving through OKla? Does the sight of a licensed gun on someones hip scare you ?

What's your point ?

Well I wonder can they just ask to see your ID and Open Carry card for no reason or must they have you pulled over or detained for a different reason and then can ask to see it?

I prefer it the way we do it up here. Ya dont have to carry a license with you. Its the cops responsability to prove you should not be carrying.
