You can distinctly hear automatic gunfire at 1:52 which is clearing in the distance. This occurs well before the tape asks if I hear any gun fire.

Is there a chance that all the college basketball games I watch are "fixed" by the people who show them? Just wondering since that is my main reason for having a TV anymore.

I just started reading a book that I think I will certainly enjoy if it is as good as the introduction and the first 20 pages. I really wonder how many people here could even get by the introduction, though, since it points out so much about all of us and how we get our news and why. It has a little test in the introduction that all of us can see how we really think. You answer some real tough questions and score each one with 0 points for agreeing with the right lean and 10 for agreeing with the left lean. You can score 5 points when you don't really know. Well, I scored a total zero which makes me far right and tells me why I don't and do like things. I wish everybody here could take that thing and compare themselves to the many Congressmen that he has in there.

The man who wrote the book says that he knows only 6 full professors at UCLA where he teaches, other than himself and his co-author, who voted for McCain and the 6 surely don't want the others to know about them.

The book is "Left Turn" and it is meant to show why the media turns the way it does, both sides, along with being the same thing from the academia view. I really got a kick out of him talking about how we all tend to go in a circulatory direction when we find the sources we like. I could easily see me in his discussion in how I pick my sources and like what they say. We are all in that thing and I would love to point out who is where and what their circles amount to.

The photographer, Adnon Hajj, was also caught doctoring many other photos he sent to Reuters and fired. I think reuters issued the usual apology. Sorry folks we got the lefties all lathered up with these doctored photos was I believe the headline. lol

Heck now when there is a thunderstorm in the area the local boys always break in and tell us how we all gotta take cover and run for the hills then follow the storm for an hour. It gets beyond ridiculous.
