He's solidifying his place in history.... at the top of the list of all things bad.

"The federal government recorded its worst monthly deficit in history in February, according to a preliminary report Wednesday from the Congressional Budget Office that said the deficit in fiscal year 2012 is already more than half a trillion dollars.
The CBO’s figures show that despite repeated efforts to trim spending, the government has borrowed 42 cents of every dollar it spent during the first five months of this fiscal year.
The nonpartisan agency projected the government will run a deficit of $229 billion in February, the highest monthly figure ever. The previous high was $223 billion a year ago, in February 2011."

I like this phrase the best.."Food Stamp President"
To me, this best describes the times under which he is President and what is happening to our citizens.
New record highs each month for food stamp usage.

What do you expect when you have someone with cheap talk skills, no record of leadership, a history of ties to radicals and basically is just plain clueless? And yet still the left wing sucktards out there continue to blindly follow and proclaim that he is doing a great job when we have such a poor economy and no chance for a rebound with this @sshat in office.

You are right........... It is the times under which Obama is President that dictates how many are applying for food stamps and not our Presidents personal quest to increase food stamp usage. If anyone want to blame anything on the increase of food stamps .... blame the huge recession that cost America millions of jobs.
Food stamps have been around for over 40 years now and In 2007 the Food Stamp Program provided more than $30 billion in benefits to a monthly average of 26.5 million people.
Because of the crippling nature to jobs etc. by the recession, changes had to be made to the food stamp programme. These changes, which represent the largest increase in the Food Stamp Program in 15 years, will make a critical difference in the well-being of millions of low-income Americans. The Food Stamp Program is the nation’s most important food assistance program. It is the only social program that creates a national benefit floor under nearly all categories of poor households — low-income children and their families as well as low income elderly, disabled, and unemployed individuals.
Maybe food stamps are a issue of discontent for those who are doing ok but for the poorer in America it is a important life line.
Stop this whinging about the President somehow being responsible for the increases in food stamp usage...... Obama doesn't put peoples arms up their backs and make them get food stamps.... whoever is eligible goes and applies, as they always have done, but the recession has destroyed jobs and made the need for food stamps a necessity for millions more in America..... not the President!

Obama's failed programs during the past 3+ years has exacerbated the food stamp problem. He CHOSE to focus all his energy on Obamcare rather than getting government out of the way so a recovery could occur.

So yes, we should blame Obama for the tremendous increases in dependency on the federal government. A dependency that will be with us for decades.

Please don't follow into the same way the left acts.

As a conservative we should be more civil. There is no room for classless name calling insults.

We have to show we are better then they are.

Yeah, I think his narrow focus on Obamacare, along with Congress hurt America.
There were bigger issues to take care of at that point.

But that is now water under the bridge.

His place in history is he took over a country that had been led to collapse by people pushing for a lack of regulations in the financial industry.

I take it that you don't want to look back at your favorite party and see their role in the financial collapse that was caused by lax regulations of the financial industry? Guess which party has been pushing for less regulation no matter what?

It's tough to own up to your own culpability isn't it?

BOTH PARTIES pushed for it over the past several decades and got what they wanted.

It was the perfect storm that hit in 2007-2008. Didn't happen overnight and it didn't happen with a single bill through Congress. And it happened WITH all our regulations in place.
