I heard about this 4-5 months ago, and I haven't had a fast food burger since...

Earthfare sells Heirloom seeds, the store sold out quickly. I have a friend whho grows vegetables and also has some animals now and is producing organic milk, etc.
Its alot of work, but worth it if the person has time.

the fact that the fast food places are selling "contaminated cow" and distributing this to schools should be illegal. It is an outrage of course, lobbyists dont care if people die from cancer.

All three of The Meat House locations in the area grind their own burger every day from whole pieces of meat and do not use any fillers. They grind fresh every day multiple times a day and it is always the freshest tasting around! Locations in Cary, N. Raleigh and Chapel Hill.

Key phrase you left out:

It should be illegal; that schools are using this cancer causing contaminant. I know of many people in rural areas who arent aware of this issue.

Good for you, but alot of people dont have their own farm. I am going to start paying triple at Earthfare now. That pink slime is disgusting, wouldnt even feed it to my dog.
dream I suggest getting your meat ground at a hispanic store since most still do it.

We dont have those here in Tenn, sadly.

It is the "heartland". Chain restaurants , fast food or Earthfare (organic, thank God). I am lucky there is one nice Cuban restaurant/bistro.

Ugh! sounds like freaking Orlando! Chain restuarants galore! Glad you have a nearby Cuban restuarant too since I get to eat that on a daily basis.

I'd love to see what a 100% pink slime burger looks like. In fact I dare the producers of such product to release it so we can see what it really is!
