No matter where this info comes from the bill has been introduced to be a Joint Resolution. It seems that this one representative has had a bellyful of breaches of the Constitution with the proclamation by Leon Panetta just last week that the administration would look to the UN an NATO for support to attack any nation in the near future and then come to the Congress after the international permission. They have just gone to far in their avoidance of the Constitution, this time.

But he didn't break any laws. He worked within the frame of the Constitution.

While I can't actually see your posts (function of the ignore feature) I can't help but hope that this is true. Nothing like the movement to impeach a sitting Democratic president to show Republicans in their best light.

Interesting, but I doubt it will get anywhere. However, I did learn something new. Walter B. Jones Jr. who is sponsoring this bill seems like one of the few decent Republicans in regards to foreign policy, despite his initial support for the Iraq War. Therefore, this impeachment is more based on principles rather than partisanship, which is good to see.

Good. Maybe they will put this whole STUPID business to bed and we can discuss something rational about how to support a president that is trying to bring us from the brink of collapse.

Like with Obamacare? Which part of the Constitution says Government can make us BUY a product from a for-profit company?

Nothing is stopping you from rational discussion, but victimizing an administration who has had plenty of time and trillions of dollars in resources is not a practice in rational discourse.

So it took them more than three years to get it going?

The first bills to impeach George W. Bush, were drawn up before he was inaugurated in 2001.

the link is World Nut Daily, on a bill proposed by Walter B. Jones jr, about using Military force without authorization of Congress.

Bill Text - 112th Congress (2011-2012) - THOMAS (Library of Congress)

the bill will go nowhere of course.
