State rep thankfully stands alone in misguided criticism
The Tribune-Star
TERRE HAUTE — If you are as flabbergasted as we are, you hardly know where to begin to rebut, refute, reject and repudiate Indiana state Rep. Bob Morris’ contention that the Girl Scouts of America has become a “radicalized organization” — an organization that, in his view, marches blissfully, liberal hand in hand, with Planned Parenthood while encouraging abortion, promoting youthful sex and championing homosexual and transgender lifestyles.
Really? Yet another conservative man who thinks women should listen to what he knows is important about women. Umm, I think you miss the point a little.
Perhaps at some point you should ask women what they think is important to women and stop assuming that you know better than they do what is important to them.
Conservative women don't hold the same views as conservative men? Uh, I beg to differ.
If Texas wants federal funding, they get to follow federal rules. It has always worked like that, and Texas' legislators full well know that. (Weren't they all agog about seceding a few years back, anyway? What happened to that?)

The fact that women now have the choice to make good or bad decisions regarding what they will do with their lives is ALL GOOD. There is no down side.
Absolutely! If Freud hadn't been so coked-up, he might have taken his theory of "penis envy" to the next logical step: Equality envy. Now every girl can fulfill her dream of being a doctor, lawyer, scientist, and so much more. Getting the right to vote was huge, but IMHO the roots of modern feminism began after WW II, when all of those "Rosie the Riveters" were
miserable at being stuck back in the hausfrau role. There were many widows with children who needed the jobs being given to returning servicemen. How stunning that it took the election of President Obama to
enact the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, guaranteeing women equal pay for doing the same job as their male co-workers. Judging by the vote, it isn't Liberals who'd deny a working woman that right:
With posters like Roysoldboy and Aero civility went out the window a long time ago.
thank you sir. Nice to see a decent man with manners and breeding here.
I do know Roy works as as a janitor, so I try to have sympathy.
Like at the supermarket, I didnt critique the disabled boy, yesterday packing my groceries and almost tripping the elderly woman blocking the check-out aisle.
