On the Internetz.

Remember, the Left is ALL ABOUT trying to silence and punish opinions and voices they don't agree with..they have ALWAYS been this way.

Social networking sites and politics | Pew Internet & American Life Project

Quote:
Liberals are the most likely to have taken each of these steps to block, unfriend, or hide. In all, 28% of liberals have blocked, unfriended, or hidden someone on SNS because of one of these reasons, compared with 16% of conservatives and 14% of moderates.
Well, NOT just on the internet...in real life too.

That is, whenever they are challenged or confronted on the hollow falsity of their orthodoxy -- such as, say, uniting diverse Americans -- liberals tend to respond defensively with anger, even trying to shut off or silence critics.

Not exactly on the left here, but I think while tolerance is necessary, it's not the only thing in the world. There are times and places for intolerance.

Maybe so. I just unfriended a conservative acquaintance. It wasn't so much that she disagreed with me...it was that sooner or later she was going to catch me in a cranky mood and I thought it better to unfriend her than to point out that she was a moron.

I'm quite tolerant of people with all kinds of differences and problems but stupids who think they're smart because they parrot Rush....life is just too short.

What's this?

People don't like to hang out with people who have different opinions than them?

Could you possibly find any more biased links?

One links to a page headlined: Online, liberals far less tolerant than normal people

WHAT a load of partisan, biased, steaming self-Righteous BS

But one question: Just what the hell passes for 'normal people' in right-wing FantasyLand ?

I think it's because disgruntled conservatives are far more annoying than disgruntled liberals.

Seriously though, unfriending someone on a social media site because you don't agree with their opinions=intolerance?

Really?

It's like people think that if they grasp at straws strong enough, they'll turn into diamonds.
