Liberals are the most likely to have taken each of these steps to block, unfriend, or hide. In all, 28% of liberals have blocked, unfriended, or hidden someone on SNS because of one of these reasons, compared with 16% of conservatives and 14% of moderates.

That is, whenever they are challenged or confronted on the hollow falsity of their orthodoxy -- such as, say, uniting diverse Americans -- liberals tend to respond defensively with anger, even trying to shut off or silence critics.
Not exactly on the left here, but I think while tolerance is necessary, it's not the only thing in the world. There are times and places for intolerance.
Maybe so. I just unfriended a conservative acquaintance. It wasn't so much that she disagreed with me...it was that sooner or later she was going to catch me in a cranky mood and I thought it better to unfriend her than to point out that she was a moron.
I'm quite tolerant of people with all kinds of differences and problems but stupids who think they're smart because they parrot Rush....life is just too short.
