20 percent say they are better off, the rest say the same, or worse. Ouch

No wonder this thread has been ignored! CBS....a favorite of Liberals who push BO's Agenda.....comes out in full force and tells a story that's not comfortable to the 2012'rs!

Shocking!

At least they got something right... things were as good as they can possibly be, when you're high (and riding high) before the bubble burst.

But then, these "articles" are only worth the brains they're targeting.

What is political or controversial about this?

I didn't realize stating random facts was thread-worthy

CBS Says 80 Percent NOT Better Off Than They Were 4 Years Ago

I bet the other 20% either work for the government elite unions or they are in a coma.

Considering we have gone through an economic melt-dpown and crippling recession, and yet 63% of the population say they are the same, or even better off than 4 years ago, then that's pretty good.

I am the same as 4 years ago, and MUCH better than 3 years ago. The economic melt-down occurrend 3 years ago, and I lost about 40% of my 401K, and my company was laying off people left and right during and after the melt-down, and now we are hiring, so that is another big improvement.

I wish they had called me.

I am the same as I was 4 years ago.

My husband is doing much better. In 2007-2009, we had constant threats of layoffs. Things have picked back up in the commercial construction business and he is now working extra. We are pretty happy.
