So what? I love people like you. Just because you're an "animal lover" and have a pack full of "critters" you some how understand the delicate balance that exists in nature and planetary ecosystems? Animals should be left in the wild with as little intrusion by man as possible. I suppose because you go to zoos you must be informed as well right?
I don't go to zoos. I don't have to. I have a zoo right here in my own house, on my own property, and in the woods and fields around me.
I live with Bald eagles. A day rarely goes by that I don't see at least one, sometimes many more like the day I counted between 20 and 30 playing and swooping and gliding and socializing together over a field near my home.
In my opinion, the Native Americans have had to make far more concessions over the years than most of the rest of us had. Letting them have two Bald eagles, out of millions, is not going to hurt the balance of nature one iota.

Indeed ..... "America's Proud and Patriotic Citizens" had damn well better wake up and vote this "Mess" out of the "Ole Yankee WH" before there is nothing left of the "Greatness" regarding the America we dearly love !
The Majectic Bald Eagle ! .......... What kind of a pathetic of a pea brain would even think of harming these magnificent creatures ?
How absolutely pitiful the WH crew truly is !

Of course SCOTUS decisons are not meaningless.
Why are you so excited by Fish & Wildlife exercising its legal right? WHY are you so opposed to people acting within the law?

Were you one of the outraged when Mitt Romney strapped a dog (in a crate) to the top of his car? These birds are far more sacred in my opinion.
I don't remember if the poster you're referring to was one who was outraged over Mittens strapping his dog to a car or not, but I sure as hell was....and still am.
There's a huge difference between submitting an animal to twelve hours of terror and physical distress for the convenience of some idiots and the allowing of Native Americans to have TWO Bald eagles so they can practice a religious ritual.
I think it's safe to assume that those eagles won't suffer for twelve hours like poor Seamus did.
The Bald Eagle is a symbol our our countries freedom. It also is a symbol of strength and the bald eagle is in the great seal of our United States.
I was privileged one day to look into a tree that is in my back yard. There was a great bald eagle sitting there. A very large bird with beautiful markings and his yellow claws holding on to one of the branches. I got my binoculars out and my neighbors all came to witness this majestic bird perched in my tree.
Why are you so ecited by Fish & Wildlife exercising its legal right? WHY are you so opposed to people acting within the law?
First off, I'm not convinced they are acting within the law. Contrary to your belief the Fish and Wildlife department isn't the law. Next as I pointed out. This is emblamatic of the stupidity of this administration. It causes a drought in California, yet aloows Eagles to be murdered. It grants exemptions for one group and not another.
