If it was up to him birth control and abortion would be banned under all conditions even for the life of the mother, well except for his wife of course, she is special.

The presidency would not give him the power to ban BC and/or abortion and everyone knows that (well, everyone except liberals who let their fears override any knowledge they may have of the legislative process). While he has floated out the idea of a constitutional amendment to ban abortion, fat chance such an amendment would ever pass the Senate, let alone be ratified by 2/3 of the states.
Meanwhile, back on topic, the suicide of a young girl who preferred death to marriage with her rapist is not a left/right issue. It is a tragedy and is viewed as such by virtually everyone whether left or right.

I think you are letting your fears and imagination take over. Since 1973 abortion has been a legal medical practice that cannot be restricted. The Supreme Court ruled that abortion was a constitutionally protected right. States can, and have, passed laws that attempt to make abortions more difficult to obtain and many of those laws have been defeated in the courts. The only way Congress could overturn the SCOTUS decision would be by passing a constitutional amendment and sending it to the states. There isn't much chance of this happening and even less that such an amendment would be ratified by 2/3 of the state legislatures.
