Both were given a microphone, and they used it. No difference whatsoever.

These mental gymnastics you guys engage in to defend your ideology must be quite tiresome.
Hello!!!!!!!

Palin endorsed candidates and had a super PAC.

She's a political tool.

You could do the same thing. Nothing is stopping you.

She's a private citizen. She holds no office. She's not a public figure anymore than Fluke is.

Did you realize this? Or willfully ignore it?

When has Fluke done any political stump speeches?

Why are people confusing "public figure" with "political figure"?

Huh? Maher is a misogynist, Obama embraces him. The Dems are a bunch of hypocrits.

LOL, yeah Fluke's just like the rest of us.

Now excuse me, I have to finish getting my makeup done for my Congressional testimony, and appearances on Ed Schultz’s show, Today Show, Andrea Mitchell’s show, CBS News, CNN, MSNBC Hardball, and The View. You know, just a normal week for us average, non public citizens.

(BTW- those were just her TV appearances for March 1 and 2. I'm sure she's done many more since then.)

Of course they are Dave. Maher is one of the good guys, right?
Well, as long as you giggle at the end of a vile, misogynist rant, it's considered comedy, even if you are just using your comedic profession as cover to insult, malign and ridicule people you personally despise.

Maher was a pig for criticizing Palin. Rush however criticzed millions of women, that is the biggest difference
