No Democratic congressman has went on the floor and openly championed Bill maher. On the other hand, GOP insiders have never been afraid to show their gratitude for Rush Limbaugh. Hell, Ronald Reagan even candidly wrote a letter to Rush Limbaugh to thank him for pushing the right-wing agenda. Don't believe me? Look it up.

Fact: Rush Limbaugh is a Republican hack.

Fact: Bill Maher is a comedian who provides entertainment.

The left sure get's a frenzied tizzy when someone from the right uses the left's tactics.

Maybe the left could claim copyright infringement?

No, they just make appearances on their shows and lambast the right in full full view of the world because Limbaugh did the same thing they did.

In other words, a bigger audience.

Ratings, that's all it's about.

I'm pretty sure that I would be correct to say that you didn't actually hear any of Rush's comments and that you only know what you have read or have been told about what he said. I would probably also be correct to say that if you did hear Rush's comments, it would have been from a YouTube clip, and you did not hear the complete segments of his show where he talked about Ms. Fluke; i.e., in context.

Secondly, Sandra Fluke is not "one of us"; she is an activist, and has been around for more than a few years (even though perhaps only recently in the spotlight). As an activist, she has inserted herself into the public domain, and is therefor not immune from public criticism (or ridicule). She is, in other words, a "public figure".

Rush's comments were in the context of discussing Obama's First Amendment violation, and the subsequent hearing arranged by Congressman Darrel Issa, and he was poking fun of the fact that she claimed that it would cost $3,000.00 for birth control (which is laughable). All of Rush's comments were made in a joking manner, because her "testimony" seemed ridiculous.

Bill Mahers comments, on the other hand are not levity. They are based on his passionate hatred of Palin, and conservatives in general. This is the difference.

But I'm sure you realize this.

Thank you, Natalie, but no, we do not think he's "God", nor are we "followers". We are listeners, and we listen because he articulates conservative ideas that are more American than what can be heard from any other media outlet.

I do not consider myself "pathetic" (thank you very much), and I do have a life. I have a wife, children, and grand children. I have served my country in the military (Obama has not), and am a Vietnam vet.

I have been self employed for a good portion of my life. How pathetic is that, in your view?

Scary? Because we love our country, America, and we wish it to remain free, and not fall to socialism, which is where the Democrats (Progressives) are taking us? Why does that scare you? Do you not also love freedom? Would you rather be enslaved by your government, dependent on government for a handout, for your very survival?

We see Obama and the leftists destroying our country and robbing us of our liberty. My fellow veterans have served to preserve freedom, not only for our children and grand children, but for you, and all Americans. Many have given their lives for your freedom.

Rush stands as a beacon of truth, and an advocate for the freedom and the liberty that we so love. Though he often pokes fun at the left (as in this case) he also exposes the hypocrisy, the fraud, and the fatuity of Democrats, and of the current administration.

That is what a "free press" is supposed to do. It is not to be a "rubber stamp" for the ideology of the Democrat Party (which has become the "Democrat Socialist Party").

WRONG....He picked on a person who was in the spotlight...promoting the obama plan of forcing insurance companies to pay for birth control.

So...then according to YOU and your criteria fir who is and who is NOT an acceptable target...it would be perfectly ok with the left if Dennis Miller got on HBO and said that Nancy Pelosi was a C**T..or that Michelle Obama looked like a monkey....yeah...I think not. And..to be honest...it wouldn't be ok with me either.

You liberals need to look at the situation for what it TRULY is...not the fantasy that fits your mold so you end up being right.

BTW....nothing as fluffy as underwear colors comes from the mouth of maher when talking about Palin. It is simply uncaqlled for, and should be condemned by the left...Instead they laugh at it, while out of the OTHER side of their mouths they call for Clear Channel to fire Limbaugh.

You people are hypocrites. And certainly not very intelligent if you can't see the point here.

You should change your name..it is misleading. One would think you had an ounce of inteligence, and clearly you do not.

Or at least from what I've seen from each program (which isn't much, I confess).
When Maher calls Palin a "sl_t" and a "tw_t", he is dead serious, and he makes no bones of the fact that he hates her. That is not "entertainment", it is pure unadulterated hatred.

The same goes for Ed Shultz.

These two are nothing short of disgusting, hate filled mouth pieces of the left, and are examples of what can be found on almost every thread started by a leftist on this forum, and others.

There is no civil discourse. It is all hatred of conservatives and what we stand for, and it is vile at times. Examples on this very thread.

Leftists have become the purveyors of unbridled hatred, while they excoriate Rush for using a word for Ms. Fluke, in levity, because of her ridiculous testimony.
