Oh look now PA wants to pass a transvaginal sonogram (healthcare, Miami)

Geez, do you feel raped when you have your annual pap test? The probe they use for this transvaginal sonogram is smaller than a tampon. Think about it, lol. They reason it is done is because there is a lot clearer picture of the fetus' growth, etc. and any problems the mother might encounter during her abortion. Seems like with libs everything is about white, male Republicans. This a medical procedure not a political statement.
Pap test is needed to rule out cancer and other issues women face so we suck it up and do it. Transvaginal ultrasound which IS NOT NEEDED to determine age of fetus (gee, most women have SOMEWHAT of a clue they MIGHT BE pregnant, there are like signs you know...).
If it were required for the safety of those seeking an abortion why wasn't it mandatory before? This is a medical procedure that will be expensive and humiliating. Aren't the RWer's always trying to shrink gov and save money? This is a giant waste of time, money, and does nothing but humiliate women and placate pro-lifers who need to mind their own business. If anyone other than a republican middle aged man has presented such a bill please show me. Until then, I am placing the blame on these men.

This procedure is much more accurate than an abdminal sonogram and that is why it is used pre-abortion. No, it isn't more expensive either. It is relatively unexpensive. It isn't much different than getting your annual pap test. Humiliating? It would be pretty humiliating to undergo an abortion IMO. Just because a middle aged Republican man presented this bill doesn't mean squat. Stop turning this into a "hate white conservative men thing" just because you obviously have no use for the Republican party. An agenda is pretty clear here.
Well, if you insist on there being two separate sets of rights - moral and legal - then perhaps you might want to go on to ponder what set can be affected by legislation.
The issue these morons have...and yes they are morons is that in the days of the internet even making it illegal wouldn't reduce the numbers of abortions an iota. Between diy methods to abort, to pills, to exchanges where you can find doctors willing to do it, the age of information makes what they want near impossible.
Morons? Is that what you call civil debate? I don't agree with you but I certainly wouldn't call you a moron.
Perhaps you would like to 'just close your eyes' when this is inserted in you against your will for non-medical, purely political reasons?
No different than the instrument they insert for a pap test. Why would it be against their will when there is a medical reason for this procedure? It is much more accurate than an abdominal sonogram during pregnancy.
