That is good. Understanding that the use of some words is not necessarily accepted by society as a whole and thus is regulated.
If, we the peons, here on cd, are restricted from using certain words, but our elected officials are not...who is in the wrong? We have agreed that it is not wrong for cd. Shouldn't our officials be held to the same standards that we are ?
That was a public/live event, this is a private website... so comparing the two is kinda silly. If you don't like the rules here, you can always find another website - and if you don't like Cee-Lo's song, don't listen or attend an event where he is performing. Simple as that!
Then, according to you, Rush Limbaugh should have said "that f--kin' s..t because there is nothing wrong with that.
That wouldn't have made any difference, because it wasn't the specific word that bothered people - it was the inference and personal attack on somebody who didn't deserve such a thing. Was Cee-Lo attacking anyone personally?
No use throwing pearls to liberal swine. They prefer the consumption of garbage above all other things, while keeping up the pretense of being high-minded.
Meanwhile, the republican swine like to give the pretense of being for freedom & against censorship, while simultaneously slamming anyone who says something they don't like. Oh, unless it's one of their own - and then it's just "being honest and exercising our freedom of speech." Right?
At an earlier fundraiser today, the president was interrupted by a “Ludacris” song when someone’s phone started ringing. “Woah. Got some â€Luda’ on there?” the president asked of the person’s ring tone, eliciting some hearty laughter from the crowd. “I hope it’s the clean version.”
P.S. The President has ordered men to be killed. That makes him a murderer.
You're saying a murderer should not have people sing F you at fundraisers and I find that fascinating. Do Christians usually have people killed in foreign countries? This one does. Was it based on God's plan? Or man's. Jesus said we should forgive 7 X 70 times. Obama just blasts 'em.
In other words, you're saying he's a Christian and complaining about his values, when it's pretty obvious that he's not very much like Jesus.
In order to forgive those that offend one and ask for forgiveness , the 7 times 70, one must be repentant of the sin they committed toward his brother. How can one forgive someone when they don't even acknowledge their sin and offenses against their brother. The must be repentant to get forgiveness.
Adj. 1. repentant - feeling or expressing remorse for misdeeds
penitent
ashamed - feeling shame or guilt or embarrassment or remorse; "are you ashamed for having lied?"; "felt ashamed of my torn coat"
regretful, sorry, bad - feeling or expressing regret or sorrow or a sense of loss over something done or undone; "felt regretful over his vanished youth"; "regretful over mistakes she had made"; "he felt bad about breaking the vase"
impenitent, unremorseful, unrepentant - not penitent or remorseful
There was war in Heaven.God threw out Satan and one third of the angels when they wanted to be higher than God and did not want to humble themselves to God and his word .
God does not call those ones a murderer to war over the evil ones. You reasoning is off some.
The song F--k You is not exactly X-Rated. Is a tongue-in-cheek song about a guy who is complaining about a gold-digging ex-girlfriend who used him and then left him for a guy with more money. It's not about f--king somebody.
Does it have cursing? Yes, but it is not like it's explicit description of various sex acts.
Oh, and while Republicans are whining about rappers appearing at political fundraisers. I should mention that Eazy-E attended at least one fundraiser for the Republican Party. Eazy-E was in the rap group N.W.A. (which stands for "N----s With Attitude") and had song called "F--k Tha Police". Oh, and just so you know, the song wasn't about literally f--king the police either.
Are you going to give me a whole list of what the republicans have done.. it is still wrong.. don't make a difference.. Republican or Democrat or Independent.. just so you know.
Meanwhile, the republican swine like to give the pretense of being for freedom & against censorship, while simultaneously slamming anyone who says something they don't like. Oh, unless it's one of their own - and then it's just "being honest and exercising our freedom of speech." Right?

Johnny Cash strikes me as the kind of Christain who spent more time thinking about what he could do to make things better -- not thinking about what others should be doing. That seems pretty Christain to me -- even if he did flip a bird now and then.
God knows from beginning to end. In the end of times , good will be bad and bad will be good.
God is a holy God and he is not changing. He is the same, yesterday , today and forever. It is through the blood of Jesus that we repent from our sins and walk will God.
The remission of sins is the work of the Holy Spirit that lives in his people.
Anyone who does not accept Jesus Christ as their savior is in condemnation. Jesus came to be our advocate for the sinner to have fellowship with God.
One must be born of the spirit of God to understand the things of God or they are complete foolishness to the natural man. One must be born of the spirit of God and the Holy Spirit lives in God's people for the remission of sins.
Without Christ one cannot be an overcomer of the world and they will serve sin. No amount of good works can get one to heaven. That was the Pharisee.
They were without the Holy Spirit of God in them. There is one way and the way is narrow, the way to destruction is wide and many follow the world.

Your point?? Guess you can't actually think of an intelligent response, so you have to go for the personal attack... speaking of low class, I find your personal jabs much sleazier than some artist using the f-word at a party. Keep it classy, Republicans!
Let's not pretend the conservative outrage over Cee Lo's lyrics and the middle finger thing is anything other than hardcore racism.
