What Jesus did in fact say - at least according to the Gospels - was this:

That's the requirement that the Jewish Carpenter himself put forth.

Incidentally, Vladimir Lenin called "he who doesn't work, doesn't eat" the First Principle of Socialism (yes, really), so make of that what you will.
But what did he pay taxes to Ceasar for?

Besides, according to the bible, Romans 13:1, Obama's authority is established by God and you are to submit to Obama or else you are defying God's established authority. 13:6 also says pay your taxes so that the rulers God gave authority may do their work.

Funny all the things the bible can say, it all depends on what you want it to say.
I tell you that the story in the link is from the Old Testament and you come back quoting from the New Testament. Do you fail to understand the difference in the two books of the Holy Bible or do you just think that they are both the same?

If you have read further it tells you of rewards of doing such good and not to doing it to get fame or adulation. If you follow that the rewards are your here on earth by what you will feel and the sense of peace on earth.
The Bible is the story of God's relationship with His people and the redemption of them through Jesus Christ. No one can "earn" their way to heaven. We are justified by faith alone. Jesus did all the work on the cross - one must only confess their sin and accept Jesus as their Lord and savior.

Pastor says: So we see that economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built.

That's not even mentioned in the Bible. The pastor just made that up. In other words, he lied. Sounds believable doesn't it, until you read the Bible and see it's just made up. You read the Bible Roy, so you must've seen it was as WRONG then as it is now. he did this while preaching in God's house. I wonder if he's really a pastor anot an evil demon who lies while preaching.

Then Joseph brought his father Jacob in and presented him before Pharaoh. After Jacob blessed[a] Pharaoh, 8 Pharaoh asked him, “How old are you?”

9 And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers.” 10 Then Jacob blessed[b] Pharaoh and went out from his presence.

11 So Joseph settled his father and his brothers in Egypt and gave them property in the best part of the land, the district of Rameses, as Pharaoh directed. 12 Joseph also provided his father and his brothers and all his father’s household with food, according to the number of their children.
Joseph and the Famine

13 There was no food, however, in the whole region because the famine was severe; both Egypt and Canaan wasted away because of the famine.

26 So Joseph established it as a law concerning land in Egypt—still in force today—that a fifth of the produce belongs to Pharaoh. It was only the land of the priests that did not become Pharaoh’s.

And, as you can plainly see, since it was NATIONALIZED AS ALL BEONGING TO PHAROAH ALREADY per the lieing pastor above, Joseph is a FREAKING MORON who made a law giving LESS grain than pharoah was getting before. Which makes no sense. At all. Because the pastor lied to make his story sound better.

Also, Evidently, Pharoah (Obama) is worthy of being blessed by Jacob - twice. Pastor also failed to mention that, too. Probably would make his anti-government story look kind of stupid with someone as awesomely loved by GOD as Jacob blessing the head of government.
I just finished reading the passages and couldn't find much wrong with the way the pastor told it after allowing his people to read passages aloud. How could he lie so much since they were reading it ahead of him?

Now just what did he say that was so wrong?
