Are you saying our military has no one but Christians as members? No Jews, atheists, agnostics, pagans, whatever? And that they were acting in the name of the Christian religion? That can't be. Didn't Obama, himself, say we were no longer a Christian nation?

The mufti based his decision on a story that on his deathbed, Muhammad declared, “There are not to be two religions in the [Arabian] Peninsula.â€

I don't understand why the Saudis are our allies and Iran is our bitter enemy. Just doesn't make sense when you think about how instrumental Saudis were in 9/11 and their open hostility to Christianity and Judaism. Meanwhile in Iran Christians and Jews can practice their religion freely and weren't involved in 9/11

Well, if we are fighting a "Christian war" in Afghanistan, then those few who are not Christians are sure being hoodwinked.

The oil relationship with the Saudis began in the 1930's when Saudi Arabia granted oil exploration and drilling rights to American oil companies. It has continued ever since. Aramco--the Arabian-American Oil Company--resulted from that relationship.
