Because any illegal alien is not going to risk imprisonment and deportation to cast a vote. The mere concept is asinine.

If you were truly concerned about voter fraud you would be jumping up and down about absentee ballots-- since that is where the very limited amount of fraud takes place. Where is your outrage about those? (Or do you ignore THAT fraud because abstentee ballots are most often cast for Republicans by the business traveler class?)
Ummm, how do you expect to catch people if they don't have to show ID? It goes UNDETECTED for the most part! It DOES happen.

Voter fraud is rare because most people don't even take the time to vote once, let alone twice, or vote as someone else. People just don't give enough of a damn to even think of faking it.
