A snippet from an extensive CNN report which shows that white supremacists have been growing in the military (as usual they are almost all Republicans/TeaPartiers) although they have always been there. This is a growing concern in our military. Infact, it is also a common concern in military's of foreign countries where like us they recruit from rural areas and most people in these rural areas are conservatives with narrow views on life.
I don't know about white supremacists, but there is definately a good ole boys network. My husband has served for nearly 17 years and we've dealt with this first hand. Unlike the Filipinos in the navy, who do help eachother, but aren't particularly hostile to non Filipinos, the good ole boys club actively seems to go out of their way to not only help other whites, but hinder the success of non whites. Of course not all whites are in this group, but there are definately enough to adversly effect the career of a non white sailor, particularly on smaller installations like NAS Lemoore.
Being that military recruiters specifically target impoverished and low-education areas, this hardly comes as a surprise.
Really, where are you going to see military high school recruiters hanging out? A prep school in Mass or a public school in Mississippi?

Exactly. And its already shown up as a MAJOR threat to American Law Enforcement throughout this country. Gang members have been receiving military training, combat experience and have brought it home to their gangs. They are training gang members in such techniques and are/have set up military style ambushes against police.

This! But white supremecists are the evilist of all the different nuts that are buried in our military. Sheesh, as if, by itself, this is tbe worst thing the military faces with problem personnel. Part of a MUCH larger problem, yes. All these types, gang bangers, drug dealers, racist groups of all colors, join up to get good training, and take it back to the streets.
Again, he tries to single out a certain group, conservatives, demonize them by associating them with the white power movement, and attempt to justify his own racial and ideological bigotry by playing what he sees as a trump card.

Who is all "hell bent on PC and diversity?" Please list those folks and entities within American society.
Also, can we incorporate all political correctness into this discussion? Political correctness refers to propositions or assertions that you aren't supposed to make, as it might offend someone. Take negative statements about the military. That is the height of political incorrectness. Making statements critical of organized religions. That's also politically incorrect. Or are we just going to include leftist orthodoxies and leave out all the right-wing orthodoxies that are not to be questioned?
