This news is quite alarming and unsettling. Anyone who has friends from different races and backgrounds should be concerned. You'd think by 2012 people would learn to let others live as they choose. Apparently hatred is still viral. I read a recent news report regarding the tremendous increase of hate groups across the nation. It's scary!

"The amount of hate groups in the U.S. have increased every year for the past 11 years.
According to a new report by the Southern Poverty Law Center, in 2011 there were 1,018 hate groups, which went up from 602 in 2000.

Can you provide a link to the actual article you are quoting? I searched the site you listed to find out more information and looked under and crime and politics even going back to the older stories and didn't see anything about it.

If any of these """Militias""" ever read the Constitution they claim to be protecting they would find that Article I makes the President the Commander of the Army, the Navy and the Various Militias. That means any militia not recognizing the President as their Commander should be consideered enemy combatants and that's why we still have GITMO.

I will try to find the link, but I heard a discussion on a news show that hate crimes haven't increased, but the definition of a hate crime has expanded, giving the prosecutors more tools to go after people.

the criteria for what constitutes a "hate crime" is very loose, and that is being generous.

All crime is committed out of hate. Hate crime is the dumbest things I have ever heard because its used primarily against white people because we all know only whites can be racist.

Hey I'm going to rob you for your own good...You were just going to spend this money on McDonalds anyway....

Here's a love tap for good measure.

Kind of sounds like government don't it????

But they have no problem letting you use EBT cards @ McDonalds...Because they can allocate the money how they choose after they control all of it. But I digress....

I aint with all this "hate crime" nonsense.

If American Muslims feel threatened by roving hate groups, then get yourself tooled up and start popping caps at people that threaten bodily harm to you. Waiting for the government to protect you is pretty lame. After you put enough fools in the dirt, the thugs will get the message that you're not having it.

I never did understand this hate crime stuff. It never made any sense to me. I don't care what the race is of the person that wants to attack me. The crime should be handled and adjudicated the same way.
