NO. He didn't say, "I told the kid to stop and I was calling 911." He said,
"...was yelling to me: 'help, help...and I told him to stop and I was calling 911." Any English teacher would tell you that the way this comment is phrased indicates that he was speaking to Zimmerman, as he added no qualifiers to indicate differently.
Backspace has talked to the witness and gotten him to clarify exactly what he meant.

No one has to prove anything until Zimmerman is arrested. Too bad that the Sanford police dept did not do proper forensics, which they will no doubt have to own up to.
And that's your personal belief. He may be telling the truth; he may not. My issue with this case is that the police didn't do what they were supposed to. Had they done their job properly this might not have blown up the way it has but since they didn't I am skeptical of everything about this case except the information I know is factually true.
Zimmerman thought Martin was suspicious.

There was a fight between Zimmerman & Martin.
Zimmerman shot Martin.

A black man stole my car with my kids in it.
The nanny stole my daughter.
My wife left me.
Where's the video of Martin jumping him from behind? Where's the video of Zimmerman peacefully heading back to his SUV?

The only witness, and the physical evidence, supports Zimmerman's statements. You cannot arrest people on a convoluted theory. I thought liberals were against abuse of police power. I guess I was wrong.
Remember in court guilt has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I also have been blaming the police for their poor handling of the case. In several instances, the Sanford police have ignored attacks on Black victims, including a homeless man who was knocked unconscious. So yes, I am against abuse of police power.
By the way, I don't care if Zimmerman is White, Black, Asian or from Mars. He still was the aggressor because he told the 911 dispatcher Martin was running away from him. Is that too difficult to understand?

Actually they do if they even want to arrest him. We have a Constitution amendment against unwarranted arrests. I know it's a bothersome thing to people like you with tunnel vision and the need to lynch someone but it's worked for a couple hundred years now.

Who knows, I know exactly how I would do it but that's just me. Anyone who carries a concealed weapon like I do should be capable of drawing and firing in a matter of a second or 2 at the most, that's even if you're laying on your back while someone is attacking you. I'm sure Trayvon never knew what hit him.

It certainly fits the profile. His history of violence. A judge's son who has seen others that have connections within Sanford law enforcement go scott free after assaulting someone. He was released without being charged after assaulting a cop...daddy's connections again. As I have said before, much will come out in the wash.
What I meant to add was that the whole thing just seems methodical the more and more you analyze the circumstances.
* Zimmerman volunteers to be the fake neighborhood cop.
* Zimmerman dials 911 more often than a debt collector phones deadbeats
* Zimmerman complains about blacks in every last one of the calls that have been released to the public.
(At this point Zimmerman constructs his own justification for his existence).
* Zimmerman knows full well about the stand your ground statute
(At this point, Zimmerman has considerable latitude to use lethal force)
* Zimmerman sees Tayron Martin and calls 911
* Zimmerman says something's "wrong with him" and claims there's "something in his waistband" and that he's "staring" at him and "coming at" him
(An attempt to build a claim of self defense for authorities who will presumably investigate the case)
* Zimmerman has already followed Martin for some distance and is attempting to engage him directly - against the advice of 911 dispatcher.
* Zimmerman proceeds to take a loaded firearm and confront Martin directly
* Zimmerman gets into an altercation of some kind. Many say it's Martin's voice crying for help, but suppose it's not. Maybe it is indeed Zimmerman "crying for help". Maybe Zimmerman is "scared". Maybe Zimmerman "fears for his life"
* Zimmerman then proceeds to kill Tayron Martin.
