It's clear from reading this forum and others that some people simply won't be able to stand living in a country that re-elects Barack Hussein Obama. Assuming he does defeat Romney/Santorum/whoever, will some conservative types resort to leaving the country? Could there even be suicide pacts so that some can save themselves from Obama's regime? Maybe even stories where parents kill their children and then themselves to save their kids from a bleak future?
I remember when Rush Limbaugh and others said they would leave the country if Obama was first elected, but didn't follow through. Will we see some really leave the USA or end their lives, rather than live under a fascist/socialist dictatorship?
And I recall some Hollywood lefties claiming THEY would leave the Country if Bush was re-elected. NONE of them left.

If humans are that stupid then they are doing a service to the rest of society.
It's too expensive to emigrate to a different country. If you remain a US citizen you have to continue to pay income taxes despite working and living overseas. If you choose to get rid of your citizenship, you sacrifice about 60% of your assets. I guess if you're already dirt poor and have nothing, then emigrating is the way to go.
I have a question, what country would conservatives choose to escape to? If you look at the countries with the highest standard of living in the world they are all more liberal than we are. Norway, Sweden, the UK, France, Germany or Canada.
I mean, where is there a country of hate filled morons with plenty of Walmarts and places to park their trailer houses? I guess Saudi Arabia is conservative enough for them?

In a word, no. Alec Baldwin and Janeane Garofalo are also still here despite their threats to leave should Bush be elected to a 2nd term.
Will there be left leaning suicide pacts and a mass exodus should Obama's abysmal performance deny him a 2nd term despite the politically suicidal ineptitude of the Republican party?
As it is with Obama care you are going to see a 2013-14 recession/depression in any case unless the obamacare is kicked out.
Any small business person with 4 employees will have to pay thousands for health insurance and that is going to fire lots of people and close many businesses.
Then those that survive have to pass the cost to YOU in the higher prices for everything by about 25%.
Time to end Obama in the 2012 vote, also government unions and Democrats in general. They have all been raping our Treasury for far too many years.
Nah... It takes guts to pack up and move to another country, leaving behind everyone and everything. There will be lots of rumbling, but nobody's going to move. They didn't in 2008, and they're not going to move in 2012, either.
Where are they gonna go? Canada doesn't want 'em, and they hate Mexicans. They'll just hang out and snivel for another 4 years.
Probably more racism against blacks and sexism against men.
