You wouldn't because you're not capable of doing so.

Bush Daughters Kept Secret Service Protection - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Four days before leaving office, President Bush signed a directive authorizing the Secret Service to provide a period of extended protection for his daughters Jenna and Barbara.

. . . . .Under the law, the adult children of an American President lose their Secret Service protection when their father leaves office.

But following the lead of Bill Clinton, who authorized an extended period of coverage for daughter Chelsea, Mr. Bush made the same provision for his daughters. He signed a presidential directive on January 16, 2009. The Secret Service requested that the length of the additional protection not be disclosed.

His stupidity, and his only. I can tell ya this, from having many friends from Mexico, and being there many times in my younger years, won't catch me there now, i know too much.

The drug cartels are very ruthless, and will use anyone to their advantage to make a point.
They do not care about your kid or my kid, or anyone's kid, if they want to, you could be gone in seconds.Years ago, we had a friend who is Mexican from mexico, but lives here now and legally, he was almost killed, and i will not get into the reasons. How bout just because he was from here, don't think this stuff happens, well it does, they wanted his wallet.
Infact were going to have him thrown in jail, unless he came up with money, and this stuff happens all the time.

Anyone else think this move is genius considering the current state of affairs down there? DHS is giving Americans travel warnings about Mexico, yet he sends his 13 year old daughter? Along with 25 SS agents, they are being protected by Mexican police. Oh Boy! They should feel real safe now!

There are many other issues that can be discussed with this article, but let's start here for now.

I couldn't give a rats ass where she spent her spring break.

What would be the course of action if something unthinkable and tragic was to occur to this child on the trip? This isn't just an ordinary citizen.

This is the first thing that crossed my mind when I read this article, yet some posters on this thread have tried to turn this into a race issue.

They have no shame.
Some others seem to have no shame, either. They just can't see that 25 Secret Service men on a vacation resort cost a lot more money than any 13 year old girl deserves. Why can't you see that? Is it the same reason you couldn't handle the Moochelle trip to Spain and what it cost us? I bet it is.

I wouldn't care, either if she went on her daddies' money and didn't have to havee 25 Secret Service agents protecting her. It is that board and room along with wages for them that bothers me.

Well I hope she gets to enjoy her visit and sees the sights. I wish her a safe return home. What more can you really say?
