I do believe that racism is on the upswing. I live in the Seattle area, which is supposed to be uber-liberal, but whenever there is a crime story in the local papers involving a (presumably) black or hispanic perp, there are loads of thinly veiled racist comments. And clearly the police here are right with the commenters.

I believe that it is the predictable result of those on the left who constantly try to foment division and racial hostility by making false accusations of racism.

Constantly accuse people of some transgression, and inevitably some will say 'wtf, if I'm going to be accused, I might as well do it."

I'd like to see his data on "More discrimination in hiring and housing".

Sounds like a bad assumption.

Studies have shown more diversity causes more distrust among people. The study was done by Harvard. I don't buy this hate crime garbage but I wouldn't be surprised if racism, if it's even possible to quantify, is increasing.

It may because Obama is in Administration even though I, myself, don't like Obama simply because he's no friend to men.

What are the causes of this growing trend? Do you think racism and stereotypes are a genetic trait?

It's sad, but true. Racism is alive and well. But is it at 1960s levels? No.
I just read this story today. No doubt this neighborhood watch guy listened to Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, and ate corn flakes.

Yea, doing this is ok because some people make false claims of racism. The cops should just beat the sh*t out of every minority. Totally reasonable.

Not sure what you are trying to say, but whatever it is, it bears no relation to my post.

Oh please, most opposition to Obama is based on his politics not his race. Besides Obama is half white.
