No, why would they be? I'm not Catholic, and I believe that politics and religion should be kept completely separate from each other.

Agreed. Please contact the president and remind him of this.

There is little about Catholic "values" that I am concerned about, so to answer you question. NO

I agree with you and that is why the government needs to get its nose out of the Catholic Church's domain. It is not the Catholic Church that is trying to mind the governments business, it is the government that is outside the rules set forth in the constitution.

It is more about religious freedom than it is about birth control and is a direct attack against the freedom of religion. People should flood the airways, e-mails, etc. and let the government know they are out of line and we are not going to stand for our freedoms being eroded. Getting rid of religious freedom and freedom of speech are the beginning of a communist state. And then there is the freedom to have guns too that is being attacked by this administration. Anyone in the United States that does not see the communist agenda by this administration is operating in a vacuum or their brain has just quit working.
This is the crux of the matter. If someone is a devout Catholic, their religion will influence their politics. Just as any religion, or lack thereof, is an influence in a person's life, they will base their decisions on their strong held beliefs.
