With Willard closing in on the GOP nomination, and McCain having won the last nomination, the last two GOP Presidential candidates have been social moderates. I know Willard claims to be "severely conseravtive" but everybody knows he's a social AND fiscal centrist liberal. McCain's a warmonger but he's pro-choice and wanted Al Gore's VP choice to be his running mate. Will another true conservative EVER win the Presidency?

No, he's fiscally conservative and always has been.
Socially, he's moderately conservative. He used to be a bit more socially moderate. He still doesn't focus on social issues very much and they don't seem to be that important to him (and I think that's a good thing).

McCain wasn't pro-choice when he ran in 2008.

Do you think only someone like Santorum counts as a "true conservative"? Santorum may be extremely socially conservative, but he's not very fiscally conservative at all.

Considering they are the vast majority of the GOP (libertarians like to think they are the majority, but social conservatives drastically out number them) probably.
One day you'll get to vote for AeroGuyDC in human form. Social and fiscal conservatism coming right up! Wait and see.
G-d save us all if that time comes...
