NY Times insinuates French school killer is Neo- Nazi; turns out he's a Muslim (suspect, terrorist)

And by the way the assumption that it might have been a Neo-Nazi was based on the fact that the victims were not only Jewish but also Arab and Muslims. And that the way the shooting was executed seemed to indicate potentially someone from the armed forces or previously a soldier at least.
Recently in Montauban where the Parachutists were killed some Neo Nazi soldiers were expelled from the Armed forces for their Allegiance to the Fuhrer and his doctrine. So it was only one avenue being explored. Nothing certain had been asserted so your sense of joy at the fact that the shooter might be a Muslim is not only innapropriate, it is disturbing and vile.
I have been watching French current affairs since the story unfolded and many other avenues were being considered by the forces but the Neo-Nazi one was being considered one of the strongest because of the two types of victims being targeted. Which is presumably what the NYT was told by their French correspondents. Stop seeing a conspiracy everywhere.

....and it's always possible in situations like these that there is more than one shooter out there acting on different motivations.
You are a one...The media speculates wildly to fulfill their fantasist tendencies, and you tell posters here to grow up?!
Actually the programmes I was watching were not "the media" but were presented by a wide spectrum of criminologists and psychologists ( including Jewish professionals) .
And yes speculation is what it is about. Because until you are 100% certain this is all which professionals can do. Speculate on particular data and analyse it and present their speculation to the media. And what exactly are we doing at this moment waiting for the shooter to be proven to be Muslim ? Speculating.
There would never be any news if we never speculated.
A bit like when Brevik went on a murdering spree in Oslo and many SPECULATED the guy was a Muslim terrorist...
Oh what a "hoot" and how "hysterical" that was when the fantastist theories of the right were proven to be totally wrong. How incredibly funny and how many of those people apologised and put their hands up with a "mea culpa" ?!?! Dozens killed and how we "laughed" and thought how the media was assuming Muslim terror when in fact it was nothing of the sort.
Finding this kind of tragedy a perfect point scoring opportunity is childish , disturbing and vile. And yes those people need to mature a little and grow up.
At least there seemed to be a sort of consensus among mental health professionals and the police in the Montauban/Toulouse tragedy. And the French Police ( which is not exactly known for being liberal believe me if anything those guys are going to want and put a nice anti Muslim gloss on the matter ) will have with contributed those opinions to the "fantasist" media. I still do not see the conspiracy...
The NYT needed to report on the matter, it took advice from quarters backed up by the French Government ( also not known for its liberal tendencies...), Police and Professionals criminologists.
Oh give it up. That speculation of suspect came from French police & alarming levels of hostility going on in the streets from rabid right muck raking. It's despicable how nothing the right does is ever their fault. Maybe the good Lord will see fit to have the earth swallow them whole and see how quickly the landscape improves.
I find it odd that it's turning out NOT to be a far right shooter....but here you are talking about how it's never their fault and you'd like to see them all "removed".
There is little difference between the far right and far lefts behavior or open mindedness.
For you information, what the french medias (all leftist) call "far right", wich is represented by the "Front National" party, is actually as extermist as the us republican party.
But i guess in the eyes of communists and socialists (and the socialist NY Times), the only thought of protecting our borders and controling our immigration is nazis related. Sad...
Europe is finally beginning to realize that their liberal immigration policies are a subtle form of genocide and as a result are slowly choking their culture to death.
btw- did the 'esteemed' and 'paper of record' The New York Times try to blame Sarah Palin for the shooting, like they did when that leftist loon Jared Loughner shot Gabrielle Giffords? I'll be surprised if they didn't.
So he's been in a completely empty building for 15 hours and they have not stormed it. That is hilarious. I guess that's just how the French do it.
