First of all, Obama has not even said one thing about taking guns away the whole time he has been in office. second of all, if anyone tried to take all guns away, it goes against the 2nd amendment and would be taken to court and third, I do not know anyone that wants all guns taken away. if anything, we just want gun law reform meaning things like backround checks when buying a gun or taking fingerprints or something, NOT taking all guns away.

Background checks are already in place.

Guns are to the left what abortion is to the right. Its on the wish list , but both know its political suicide.

I guess you're ignorant of the thousands of gun laws that have been forewarded or the ones that have already been passed.
Politicians of either party are not to be trusted.

True, take a look at the NRA politian ratings. One may be surprised to see some pro gun dems and anti gun repubs. Not the majority, but they do excist.

Because it's a propaganda tool used to keep the right wing sheep in line to keep hitting (R) at the elections.

Background checks and fingerprinting are already in place. You really should stick to topics that you actually have knowledge of. All one needs to do is look at Obama's past record and his appointees to know that he's staunchly anti-gun and would like nothing more than to eliminate gun ownership in the USA.

So wrong! Those desiring gun control are demographic in nature. City dwellers of both political affiliation are the one's desiring control. Dem's and Repub's out in the country don't want gun control.

So the question really to be asked,

If we already HAVE background checks. What are you asking for, when you ask for background checks?

What kind of Gun Law reform are you asking for? You realize of course that we have so many gun laws, it's ridiculous. With that little fact out there, what are you going to add/remove/change?

Why not start ENFORCING the laws we have? Especially since the ONLY people that will be affected by any laws, will be the law abiding citizens, who are already following the law.

Here's the problem, some of these proposals may make sense but the anti gun lobby will never stop there hence the reason the NRA gets so much support even when they are fighting sensible legislation.
