Ditto to ALL of the above... and the one time I have shot a gun (at a range), the friend who taught me is so liberal he borders on anarchist.

Some of my inlaws fall into this category with ya. They didn't have or take time to research the subversive in the Oval Office. They voted their raw emotions and part of that, I get. They were jazzed about helping to make history and "right the wrongs" of our nation's past.

They still like their guns, but not the one they voted for. Heck they're not just Liberals but "Texas Libs" and they, too actually exist.

As I have been a strict vegetarian for a quarter of a century now, of course.

Where I live, we're basically not allowed to have guns - liberal, conservative or otherwise.

That's really great but a little bit parasitic. Because the only reason you have the luxury of being a pacifist is because there are other people out there (police, soldiers, etc) with guns, enforcing the laws that allow you not to be threatened.

Not saying such a reliable non lethal technology exists yet, but if it did?
That I support. After all, when you need to defend yourself or someone else, all you need to do is incapacitate the offender till the cops arrive. Sentencing should be left to the courts.

Those are professionals, adequately trained and paid for with my tax money so they protect civilian society.
