46 were shot, ten killed...as a person that has spent his entire life in this area, as sad as it is, it is normal the first really nice weekend and will continue through the summer into the autumn. Non-locals and newbies to the area are the only ones surprised by this. Chicago, especially the low income areas, are a beast that cannot be control...there is a wild west mentality there, especially when it isn't freezing outside.

What's ironic (and sad) is Chicago is one of the biggest cities a law abiding citizen cannot arm himself for self protection.
