Why does everyone call it National Health Care reform? It's just a money grab from the same insurance companies that in part drove up the cost of medical care.

Why aren't Americans honest about the healthcare issue?
The government should not provide any aid to those who have health problems, but not enough finances. It's just tough luck for the sick.
The fairest way to deal with the issue is: everyone can only get as much healthcare as one can buy, no more, no less. This way, those who complain about the costs (taxes and America's financial ruin) will no longer have to complain. Those who are sick, but cannot afford medical treatment can complain all they want, but we'll just ignore them. Eventually, death will silence them. They will not be missed.

I think Americans should be more honest.

That no one knew the full impact of legislation that was passed with the words, 'we have to pass it to see what's in it" precludes any discussion of its merits.

The passage of obamacare in this manner is an embarassment for its sponsors and even more embarassing is the whimper from all fronts on that statement made by Nancy Pelosi and others.

The tolerance for an elected official making that statement, 'we have to pass it to see what's in it" marks the end of America as we knew it.

The premise of Obamacare under the guise of healthcare, is a farce. It is an agenda to advance an undesirable social and political agenda America has rejected and the Dems have forced upon our nation.

Obamacare is a shadow upon our history surpassed only by the traitorous mainstream media turning propaganda machine for the politicas Obama was chosen to represent.

The premise was "affordable" which is even in the bill's title.
Well when it's "free" then it's certainly "affordable" isn't it ?

How insane is this?
I think this sums it up. A neocon has no problem blowing away hundreds of billions of dollars on spreading democracy but balks at helping his fellow American.

The United States is a farce, so everything that comes from the USA is a farce.

...only they have a new law forcing them to accept a lower profit margin now, so how is it better for them?

"Neener-neener-boo-boo" would have saved ink, and have been more adult sounding too.

Because we're strongly against anything that can help the little man. Even if we had no debt, a balanced budget, etc it still wouldn't be passed.
