We've all heard the rants about how Liberalism is a mental disorder, that Liberals are the "real" harbingers of hate.
Well, I thought I'd speak for the other side of things. I remember reading this in Psychology Today a few years back during the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

Is Political Conservatism a Mild Form of Insanity?
Death anxiety, system instability, dogmatism/intolerance of ambiguity, closed-mindedness, low tolerance of uncertainty, high needs for order, structure, and closure, low integrative complexity, fear of threat and loss, and low self-esteem.
