I hope after Obama gets elected, that he'll rewrite the tax codes entirely and outlaw offshore accounts and outsourcing. I hope he imposes massive tariffs on all goods manufactured overseas at least a good 150%. That way it'll be more expensive to outsource than pay someone $20 an hour for a 40-hour workweek. I also hope he makes everyone pay income taxes every time they pulse money from their offshore accounts which is twice the federal income tax.

The only way they'd be able to circumvent that is to travel to the Cayman Islands or Switzerland. All that time and travel can be quite costly. Last but not least, I hope Obama imposes a new tax code to where everyone files income taxes seasonally or monthly. If they just deducted it out of everyone's weekly or biweekly paychecks and returned the difference that would be more than alright with me.

They definitely need to get rid of ALL the loopholes. If that means no more donations to charities, so be it. The real reason several wealthy folks do that is because they're tax write-offs, and they know it. Those who wish to donate can do it with their own money, and not that of the taxpayers. It's that simple. Last but not least, here's what I think the new tax codes should look like based on income and whatnot.

Less than $15,000 = 5%
$15,001 - $20,000 = 6%
$20,001 - $30,000 = 7%
$30,001 - $40,000 = 8%
$40,001 - $50,000 = 9%
$50,001 - $60,000 = 10%
$60,001 - $70,000 = 11%
$70,001 - $80,000 = 12%
$80,001 - $90,000 = 13%
$90,001 - $100,000 = 14%
$100,001 - $110,000 = 15%
$110,001 - $120,000 = 16%
$120,001 - $130,000 = 17%
$130,001 - $140,000 = 18%
$140,001 - $150,000 = 19%
$150,001 - $160,000 = 20%
$160,001 - $170,000 = 21%
$170,001 - $180,000 = 22%
$180,001 - $190,000 = 23%
$190,001 - $200,000 = 24%
$200,001 - $210,000 = 25%
$210,001 - $220,000 = 26%
$220,001 - $230,000 = 27%
$230,001 - $240,000 = 28%
$240,001 - $250,000 = 29%
$250,001 - $260,000 = 30%
$260,001 - $270,000 = 31%
$270,001 - $280,000 = 32%
$280,001 - $290,000 = 33%
$290,001 - $300,000 = 34%
$300,001 - $310,000 = 35%
$310,001 - $320,000 = 36%
$320,001 - $330,000 = 37%
$330,001 - $340,000 = 38%
$340,001 - $350,000 = 39%
$350,001 - $360,000 = 40%
$360,001 - $370,000 = 41%
$370,001 - $380,000 = 42%
$380,001 - $390,000 = 43%
$390,001 - $400,000 = 44%
$400,001 - $410,000 = 45%

International Tariffs = 150%
Property Tax = 15%
Sales Taxes = 10%

The first part yeah, he did. I tried to find the video and couldn't but I do remember seeing it on TV. Actually I think it's the same episode. The second part I was being sarcastic

Well even if it was sarcastic, that's still uncouth. FOX News is inundated with classist, racist, homophobic xenophobes who only care about rich WASPs which is why they pontificate their elitist agenda. That's why I say FOX NEWS really stands for Frightful Old Xenophobes Naughtily Endearing Wall Street.

Much of that was tried in 1930; it was known as the Smoot-Hawley tariff, and it is often cited as a big factor in the "second stage " in the fall of 1931 -- that event turned what had been a slowdown lmited mostly to Wall Street into the full-blown Great Depression.

I imagine it didn't work because it was shot down by Congress just like FDR's second Bill of Rights was.
