I never really understood the hoodie thing. I'd never think any differently about a person wearing a hoodie. I wear a hoodie sometimes, it keeps the wind off my face.

Ban hoodies and something else will become fashionable. (Or hoodies will become even more fashionable for having been banned, as if any governmental body could even ban 'em anyway.)

Maybe we should just ban "assault hoodies"

Don't worry, we can just make up a definition.

and a "hoodie" keeps my ears warm! Oh the scorn of fashion and the horrible implications regarding race relations "ala "Zimmermann! I guess we should throw in "tattoes" into the mix since I am sure they all are "bikers" or "ex- prisoners"!

There's nothing wrong with wearing a hoodie and no one should have to abstain from wearing one because of their race. If people feel threatened when they see a Black or Hispanic person in a hoodie, that's their problem.

I find cop goons wearing ski masks and other paramilitary garb more intimidating than any teen wearing a "hoodie"

If there's going to be any ban on attire that's where it needs to be done.
