I think he sustained permanent brain damage from that brick bashing in his head. Unforgiveable. As I recall nobody did a day for that crime.
What was it that MLK stood for? Oh yeah, non-violence.
Not true, the four were arrested. I also want to add that several ballsy black folks watching the beating live on tv went down to the middle of that madness and picked up Denny and carried him out of there to the hospital.

You are so right, good for them.

As his rig crossed Florence, a group of rioters enraged over the Rodney King verdict rushed toward him, pulled him out of the cab and beat him to within an inch of his life. The attack ended when Damian Monroe Williams took a cinderblock and bashed Denny's skull, fracturing it in 91 places and causing severe brain damage.
The only reason he probably did not die that day was because four South Central residents, Bobby Green, Lei Yuille, Titus Murphy and Terri Barnett, who saw the entire incident on television, raced to the scene. Despite the risk to their own lives, they grabbed Denny, put him back into his cab and drove him to a nearby hospital where doctors were able to save his life. Denny had to undergo years of rehabilitative therapy, but his speech and ability to walk were permanently damaged. After the trial of his assailants, he approached their families in a gesture of forgiveness. He later appeared on the Phil Donahue show to shake hands with one of them, Henry Keith Watson, and finally make peace.

No, police will let the rioting neighbors kill each other.
Back in the days of the LA riots they stayed away and let them kill each other.
Those with businesses often had guns and defended their property easily enough.

Thing is, even dogs known not to pee in their own beds, but rioters do not.

We're already getting mini signs of disturbances. When Zimmerman is not charged, an increasing possibility watch out.

Maybe the police chief didn't charge Zimmerman sso Sanford could get publicity and people would converge on the city in anticipation of a riot. Could this all be scripted?

This should be a good lesson to teach people to reserve judgment until they have all the facts.
If that happened then they could not yell racism all of the time....
