You gotta be kidding?? .... even if he's right, 4000 new Govt workers is not creating new jobs. Just more spending by the Govt.

You claim to be a real estate agent, not a completely-out-of-touch-with-the-reality on social welfare. You should know better.

Whether one is employed by the government as an IRS agent, a teacher, or a policeman you have every bit a real job as a privately employed office worker, blackjack dealer or lap dancer.

The notion that only people who are privately employed have real jobs is silly. If you are paid to perform a function, you have a job and it doesn't matter if it's the gov't or a company.

I do not believe anyone who says they have concern for America or the unemployment in America when they decry the creation of a UHC that would improve the health of ALL Americans which alone would decrease number of days off sick for employees and take the burden of health care away from employers and increase salaries. The creation of a UHC would mean HUGE employment... this could possibly get rid of most unemployment in the USA virtually overnight..... when the UK created the NHS, they had to get workers over from the Caribbean and other places to fill jobs in the NHS as they didn't have enough people to fill the huge job creation by the new health service.
A UHC here would stop the huge corruption in the present system, bring health costs way down and stop huge corporations controlling the health choices of Americans............. every other industrialised country has benefited from a UHC, why on Earth do some here think it will not benefit America also?????????

What gives you the idea we are like other industrialized nations? We are nothing like them.

ABSOLUTELY..................... but nothing to be proud of..... Charles Manson is nothing like other people either.........
If not being like other Industrialised Nations meant that Americans benefited from that ideal then big Kudos to being different but when being different means millions of Americans suffer then being different equates to being paranoid, myopic and brainwashed.

Ok, maybe I wasn't quite clear there. I meant it wasn't a game in the sense that you have good sportsmanship. If it's overturned and the Democrats treat it like some little league game, just shaking hands and then it's over, then they only have themselves to blame. Whatever the outcome it is important, very important, that they fight back and fight back hard. Like I've already stated, they come out ahead either way

And the ones who are exploiting people are the Republicans, not the Democrats

Would that by any chance be the same place where Santorum read that California colleges don't teach American history?
